...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN GREENE AND NORTHWESTERN
PITT COUNTIES...
At 139 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Farmville,
moving east at 25 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Greenville, Winterville, Farmville, Bell Arthur, House, Bruce,
Lizzie, East Carolina University, Pitt Greenville Airport, Dowdy
Ficklen Stadium, Fountain, Castoria, Walstonburg and Falkland.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
