This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT Thunderstorms: Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected this evening and perhaps overnight across much of South Florida. The primary impacts will be lightning strikes, gusty winds, and locally heavy rainfall. Flooding: Localized flooding is possible due to slow moving heavy downpours from thunderstorms over the low lying and poor drainage areas. Highest chances of significant flooding will reside over the coastal metro areas for which a Flood Watch is in effect. Wind: A few storms could become strong to severe and produce damaging wind gusts in the 50 to 60 mph range this evening.
