This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of East Arkansas...
the Missouri Bootheel...North Mississippi...and West Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Hot and humid conditions are expected today. Heat index values
are expected to meet or exceed 110 degrees, mainly across north
Mississippi, portions of southeast Arkansas, and the Memphis
Metro.

Elsewhere, a heat advisory is in effect for heat indices 105 or
greater.

Additionally a few strong thunderstorms are possible in the late
afternoon and early evening hours. Gusty winds are the main
threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A heat advisory has been issued for portions of north Mississippi
on Sunday, mainly south of a line from Tunica to Oxford to Tupelo for
heat indices 105 to 107 degrees.
