tonight and continue rising to a crest of 80.0 feet Friday morning.
* Impact...At 79.0 feet, Property in low lying areas needs to be
removed. Access roads to oil and gas rigs may be flooded. Levee
gates should be closed before the river reaches 80 feet. There is
minor flooding at this level.
* Impact...At 80.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs at this level. Levee
gates should be closed to prevent the river from backing into
Calion Lake. Access to oil and gas rigs and to timber is flooded.

* Flood stage is 79.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is currently cresting near 79.8 feet and is
expected to fall below flood stage by Tuesday evening, March 23.
* Impact...At 79.0 feet, Property in low lying areas needs to be
removed. Access roads to oil and gas rigs may be flooded. Levee
gates should be closed before the river reaches 80 feet. There is
minor flooding at this level.
* Impact...At 80.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs at this level. Levee
gates should be closed to prevent the river from backing into
Calion Lake. Access to oil and gas rigs and to timber is flooded.
There is wide coverage of flooding in the river bottoms.

Included LLWS at all locations after sunset this evening. /44/ && .PREV DISCUSSION...(ISSUED 315 AM CST Tue Feb 23 2021) SHORT TERM...Today Through Wednesday Night High pres rdg was situated acrs the Gulf Coastal region early this mrng, providing clear skies and a W/SW wind flow ovr the FA. Once again seeing a wide range in predawn temps this mrng with sheltered locations AOB freezing, with 40s and lower 50s common elsewhere. Snow pack diminished considerably on Mon thanks to highs in the 50s and 60s and abundant sunshine. Last vis satellite imagery late Mon still showed decent snow cover ovr parts of Ern and SE AR, which could still hold high temps down a bit today for locations upwind. Otherwise, looking for an unseasonably warm day today with highs well into the 60s and even some lower 70s. A new CDFNT is fcst to drop SEWD thru AR on Wed/early Wed night. Latest model solution are showing some limited rain chcs along the fnt, with amounts less than 1/10 of an inch. Cooler and drier air wl filter in behind the fnt. LONG TERM...Thursday Through Monday Expect dry conditions at the start of the long term period as a cold front drops south of the state. This dry period will be short-lived as a fast moving upper shortwave trough will be moving east over the region Thu night into Fri. This will bring increased POPs for SHRA and a few TSRA possible as moisture lifts north over the front to the south....with the best chances for precip across the SRN half of the CWA. There could be a small window early Fri morning across the NRN counties where some wintry wx could be seen. However...think either the moisture will remain further south if the temps will remain cold enough...or if the moisture lifts far enough north...the temps will be too warm for any impacts. So for now...the confidence in seeing any accumulation or impacts from wintry wx Fri morning remains low. As this upper shortwave moves east of the region...the frontal boundary to the south will attempt to move back north as flow aloft becomes more SW over the region. Chances for precip increase once again by the weekend...as multiple disturbances lift NE over AR in the increasing SW flow aloft. These disturbances will be passing over the aforementioned frontal boundary...which looks to have moved into the state by the weekend. With this setup...multiple rounds of rainfall will be possible over the weekend into early next week.
