...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern St.
Tammany Parish through 430 PM CDT...

At 403 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Abita Springs, or near Covington, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Covington, Abita Springs, Madisonville and Lacombe.

This includes Interstate 12 between mile markers 57 and 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
