PARISH...

At 1235 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Belle River,
moving west at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central
Assumption Parish.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN ST. HELENA AND
NORTHERN TANGIPAHOA PARISHES...

At 214 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Wilmer, or 7
miles northeast of Amite, moving northwest at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Amite City, Kentwood, Roseland, Wilmer and Tangipahoa.

This includes Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 49 and
64.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
