...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN ST. TAMMANY AND
SOUTHWESTERN WASHINGTON PARISHES...

At 1017 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Abita Springs,
or near Covington, moving north at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Covington, Abita Springs, Folsom, Sun and Enon.

This includes Interstate 12 near mile marker 62.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN ST.
TAMMANY...EAST CENTRAL TANGIPAHOA AND SOUTHERN WASHINGTON PARISHES...

At 1046 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Sun to near Covington. Movement was
northwest at 15 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Covington, Franklinton, Abita Springs, Folsom, Sun and Enon.

This includes Interstate 12 between mile markers 53 and 63.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
