This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southeast Texas. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Widespread showers and thunderstorms associated with an approaching cold front can be expected across the forecast area today. The strongest of this activity is likely to come in the form of a squall line which could develop across southeast Texas this morning, then sweep across central Louisiana this afternoon. All modes of severe weather will be possible, but the main threats at this time appear to be damaging wind gusts and large hail. Heavy rain will also be possible, especially across east-central Louisiana where minor flooding could occur with the strongest storms.
