This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A line of thunderstorms will push east across eastern Kentucky
this afternoon and evening. Some storms this afternoon and evening
could become strong to severe with damaging wind gusts and
marginally severe hail being the main threats. Locally heavy
rainfall will also be possible from the stronger storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms will also be possible, mainly during the afternoon
and evening hours, from Monday through Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report any storm damage or large hail
through the evening hours of today.

At 251 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Powersburg, or
12 miles southwest of Monticello, moving northeast at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Monticello, Parmleysville, Slavens, Susie, Barrier, Gregory, Co-
Operative, Slickford, Ritner, Denney, Kidder, Powersburg, Oil Valley,
Coopersville, Burfield, Kidds Crossing, Hidalgo, Rockeybranch, Betsey
and Delta.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause

along a line extending from near Cowan to 8 miles southwest of
Winchester. Movement was east at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Sterling, Flemingsburg, Owingsville, Marshall, Jeffersonville,
Camargo, Sharpsburg, Pecks Ridge, Wyoming, Peasticks, Flat Creek,
Odessa, Bourbon Furnace, Pebble, Prewitt, Muses Mills, Crooks,
