The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  South central Alachua County in northern Florida...
  North central Marion County in northern Florida...

* Until 500 AM EDT.
    
* At 424 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 7 miles west of Cross Creek, or 11 miles northwest of
  Citra, moving northwest at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  south central Alachua and north central Marion Counties, including
  the following locations... Flemington, McIntosh and Micanopy.
