CENTRAL APPLING COUNTIES UNTIL 545 PM EDT...

* At 517 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were
  tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles north of Odum, or 9 miles
  east of Surrency, moving northeast at 10 mph.

* Nickel size hail, excessive cloud-to-ground lightning, wind gusts
  of 50 to 55 mph, and minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is
  possible with this storm.

* This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
  Wayne and east central Appling Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. If
you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck! Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

  possible with this storm.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ocala, Ocala Airport, Anthony and Lowell.

  Graham to 8 miles northeast of Surrency. Movement was north at 10
  mph.

* Wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph and minor flooding due to heavy
  rainfall is possible with these storms.

* Locations impacted include...
  Baxley, Hazlehurst, Graham, Surrency, Plant Hatch, Doctortown and
  Pine Grove.
