Severe thunderstorms will be possible today through this evening.
These thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging winds
to 60 mph, hail to the size of quarters, and tornadoes.

Severe thunderstorms will be possible early Saturday morning
through Saturday evening across southeast Arkansas, northeast
Louisiana, and Mississippi. This potential weather event is still
several days away, and the timing and impacts may be adjusted
with later forecasts.

The activation of storm spotters, HAM radio operators, and
emergency management personnel in support of severe weather
operations may be needed for portions of the region today

evening. Some thunderstorms could produce damaging wind gusts to
60 mph and hail up to quarter size. A tornado cannot be ruled

southwestern Yazoo and southeastern Issaquena Counties through 330 PM
CST...

At 240 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Redwood, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.
