...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN KENNEBEC
AND SOUTHEASTERN SOMERSET COUNTIES...

At 1149 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Kingsbury Plantation to near
Skowhegan to 8 miles southwest of Madison. Movement was east at 35
mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Waterville, Fairfield, Oakland, Skowhegan, Pittsfield, Madison,
Clinton, Belgrade, Bingham, Norridgewock, Benton, Anson, Canaan,
Hartland, Cornville, Burnham, Athens, Harmony, Detroit and Brighton
Plantation.

This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 126 and 156.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
