This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY...

Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to form by 10 PM MDT
over Northwest Kansas south of I-70. Hail up to ping-pong ball size
is possible.

During the night dense fog is expected to form over most of the Tri-
State Area. Expect visibility to fall to a quarter mile or less at
times.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

Dense fog is expected to continue through sunrise Tuesday. The fog
will end by 8 AM MDT or 9 AM CDT.

Severe thunderstorms are possible across much of the region
Wednesday afternoon and evening. Threats will include large hail,
damaging wind, heavy rain and a small threat for tornadoes/

For next weekend, there will be the chance for some strong to severe
thunderstorms to occur each day.

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL RAWLINS AND NORTHWESTERN
DECATUR COUNTIES UNTIL 400 AM CDT...

At 315 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Atwood, moving northeast at 25 mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Oberlin, Atwood, Herndon, Ludell, Blakeman and Traer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
