* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Adams County in south central Nebraska...
  Central Kearney County in south central Nebraska...
  Central Phelps County in south central Nebraska...

* Until 315 AM CDT Monday.

* At 911 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly as a line of thunderstorms has moved 
  very little over the past couple of hours and moderate to heavy 
  rain continues over much of the area.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Holdrege, Minden, Kenesaw, Juniata, Axtell, Loomis, Funk, 
  Heartwell, Prosser and Norman.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM CDT EARLY THIS 
MORNING FOR NORTHWESTERN ADAMS, CENTRAL KEARNEY AND CENTRAL PHELPS 
COUNTIES...

At 1239 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported that the underpass on 
the east side of Minden is closed, as well as West 1st Street and 
West 6th Street due to flooding from earlier storms. Also, Highway 6 
at Primrose was flooded where multiple accidents occurred from high 
water, but water has been receding.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
