The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 630 PM MST.

* At 332 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly. Trained spotter reported minor flooding already occurring 
  in local drainages.

  HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water
           crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Prescott Valley and Dewey-humboldt.

At 418 PM MST, the heaviest rainfall has ended with only light to 
moderate rain continuing across the warned area. A trained spotter 
reported flooding over secondary roads near River Dr. Flash flooding 
is expected to continue over the next 1-2 hours.

         flash flooding.
