* From this afternoon until further notice.
* At 1:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 15.1 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 15 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding
begins in the woodlands and fields along the creek upstream and
downstream from the gage on the U.S. Highway 41 or Nashville
Street bridge. The flood water will expand to inundate the entire
area under the bridge. Minor flooding of the natural floodplain
will also occur upstream of the gage between Interstate 75 and
U.S. Highway 41 or Nashville Street.

the West Chickamauga Creek near Fort Oglethorpe.
* From late tonight to Friday morning.
* At 3:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 10.0 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 11 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 11.5 feet early Thursday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday
morning.
* Impact...At 11 feet, Flood Stage is reached. Minor flooding begins
of woodlands and fields near the creek upstream and downstream
from the gage on the Georgia Highway 146 or Cloud Springs Road
bridge. Minor flooding of the creek can also be expected further
downstream as it crosses the Tennessee border into the south East
Ridge area.
