The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  the Chattahoochee River at Helen.
* Until late this evening.
* At 12:00 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 3.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 6 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this 
  afternoon to a crest of 7.3 feet late this afternoon. It will then 
  fall below flood stage late this afternoon.
* Impact...At 7 feet, Minor flooding continues in the yards of some 
  homes on the left bank downstream from the gage on Main Street. 
  The water level will be around one foot deep on the concrete patio 
  of the restaurant at Castle Inn and the parking lot behind it. 
  Portions of the sidewalk under the bridge and the parking lot 
  behind a Tubing Company off of Poplar Stump Road upstream from the 
  gage will be under 3 feet of water. The landing area adjacent to 
  the Tubing Company off of Edelweiss Strasse will be under one foot 
  of water.
