This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Light snow will spread eastward across portions of northern
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin this evening and should taper
off by sunrise. Accumulation should be light for most locations,
but a few slippery stretches may develop on area roads.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A winter storm will move across the region Sunday afternoon
through Monday evening. Widespread accumulating snow is expected
with total snow accumulation of 4 to 9 inches. Areas along the
North Shore can expect higher snow totals due to terrain
influences and onshore flow, possibly as much as 10 to 14 inches.
Roads will become snow covered and slippery. Visibility as low as
one-half to one-quarter mile is likely during the time of the
heaviest snow.

Another round of accumulating snow is forecast Tuesday afternoon
into Wednesday afternoon. Roads may become slippery.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Easterly winds will strengthen Sunday night into Monday.
Conditions will become hazardous to smaller vessels. Gales to 40
knots are possible along portions of the North Shore early Monday
morning. Winds will veer southwesterly Monday afternoon and will
remain hazardous to small craft. Another period of gales is
expected Monday afternoon through Monday evening over the South
Shore waters and the Outer Apostle Islands. Winds will weaken by
Tuesday morning. In addition to the strong and gusty winds, snow,
heavy at times, is possible which will reduce visibility to less
than one-half mile.

Another period of strong and gusty winds is forecast early
Wednesday morning through early Thursday morning as a area of low
pressure moves through the region. Conditions will be hazardous to
small craft during that time.
