Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...
Nueces River Near Three Rivers affecting Live Oak County.
For the Nueces River...including Cotulla, Tilden, Three Rivers,
Mathis, Bluntzer, Calallen...Moderate flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a
* Flood Warning for
the Nueces River Near Three Rivers.
* From Thursday afternoon until further notice.
* At 11:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 10.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 10.6 feet this afternoon. It
will then fall to 9.3 feet and begin rising again tomorrow
morning. It will rise above flood stage early Thursday afternoon
and continue to rise to 34.4 feet Friday evening. It will then
fall again but remain above flood stage.
* Impact...At 35.0 feet, Major lowland flooding occurs. Flow backs
up minor creeks to the slabs of lowest homes in the River Creek
Acres Subdivision, five miles southeast of George West, requiring
evacuations. Livestock are cut off and could drown in low areas
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 32.9
feet on 03/17/2007.
