* At 1:15 PM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 9.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Wednesday
evening, cresting near 24.7 Thursday afternoon, then dropping
below flood stage Friday afternoon.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet, major flooding occurs. Secondary roads, low
bridges, and crossings are very dangerous to travel. Livestock in
the flood plain are cut off and may drown. The lowest homes are
also threatened.

Tuesday night, with a little drop for Wednesday. It will rise
above flood stage early Thursday morning, cresting near 20.7 feet
early Thursday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
early Friday morning.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, major lowland flooding occurs. Crops are
damaged and pasture land is flooded in the Poesta and Aransas
Creek flood plains upstream.
