Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Coleto Creek At Highway 59, Victoria affecting Victoria County.

For the Coleto Creek...including Highway 59,  Victoria...Minor 
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

* Flood Warning for
  the Coleto Creek At Highway 59, Victoria.
* Until just after midnight tonight.
* At 1:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 23.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early 
  this morning to a crest of 26.1 feet early this morning. It will 
  then fall below flood stage this morning.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs. The flow is 
  well into flood plain, cutting off cattle below Highway 59 to the 
  Guadalupe River confluence. Camino drive is inundated.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 27.0 
  feet on 10/31/1981.
