...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BRING HEAVY RAIN TO LEWIS COUNTY...

At 114 AM EDT, an area of strong thunderstorms was located 10 miles 
east of Lowville, moving northeast at 30 mph. 

These storms will produce heavy rainfall. Winds in excess of 40 mph 
are also possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lowville, Highmarket, Whetstone Gulf State Park, New Bremen, Watson,
Martinsburg, Lyonsdale, Greig, Port Leyden, Harrisville, Croghan,
Lyons Falls, Constableville, Turin, West Leyden, Mohawk Hill,
Belfort, Soft Maple Reservoir, Kirschnerville and Lake Bonaparte.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
