...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTH CENTRAL
JEFFERSON... SOUTHERN LEWIS AND NORTHEASTERN OSWEGO COUNTIES...
At 1241 AM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms were located 8 miles
southwest of Redfield, or 13 miles northwest of Camden, moving east
at 35 mph.
Wind gusts up to 40 mph are possible with this storm, along with
heavy rain.
Locations impacted include...
Redfield, Highmarket, Whetstone Gulf State Park, Richland, Watson,
Martinsburg, Williamstown, Lyonsdale, Greig, Orwell, Port Leyden,
Lacona, Lyons Falls, Altmar, Mannsville, Constableville, Turin,
Osceola, Amboy Center and West Leyden.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
