...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern Essex
and southwestern Addison Counties through 500 PM EDT...

At 429 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Crown Point, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Middlebury, Moriah, Crown Point, Cornwall, Weybridge, Salisbury,
Bristol, New Haven, Port Henry, Addison, Shoreham, D A R State Park,
Crown Point Center, Bridport, Ripton, Whiting, Leicester, Goshen,
Waltham and Lincoln.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
