...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New York and
northeast Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Flash Flood Watch.

In addition to flash flooding, some storms my become severe with
damaging winds being the main threat. An isolated tornado or two
cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

The probability for widespread hazards weather is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed. Please relay any information about
severe weather to the NWS while following local, state and CDC
guidelines.

...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SCHUYLER...YATES...
NORTHWESTERN CHEMUNG AND STEUBEN COUNTIES...

At 939 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Wayland to near Cameron to near
Troupsburg. Movement was east at 45 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Corning, Big Flats, Horseheads, Bath, Penn Yan, Hector, Starkey,
Campbell, Benton and Urbana.

...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN OTSEGO AND
NORTH CENTRAL DELAWARE COUNTIES...

At 129 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Cherry Valley to Maryland. Movement
was east at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Davenport, Worcester, Middlefield, Maryland, Westford, Cherry Valley,
Schenevus, Cooperstown Junction, Elk Creek and Butts Corner.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
