  Southern Chenango County in central New York...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 504 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Greater
  Binghamton Airport, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Guilford, Coventry, Greene, Bainbridge, Whitney Point, Afton,
  Greater Binghamton Airport, South Oxford, Chenango Forks and
  Chenango Bridge.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.

DELAWARE AND SOUTHERN CHENANGO COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However gusty winds are
still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
central New York.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Binghamton.
