...Areas of dense fog in eastern New York and western New England
early this morning...

Areas of dense fog have formed over parts of eastern New York and
western New England this morning. Most of the dense fog is spread
around river valleys, swamps and wet lands with better
visibilities in higher terrain. Visibilities have been reduced to
below one mile and locally one quarter mile or less. The fog is
expected to burn off by 9 AM.

Motorists are advised to reduce speeds, allow for extra distance
between yourself and other motorists and use low beam headlights.
