EVENING FOR SOUTHEASTERN CHESTERFIELD, NORTHEASTERN DINWIDDIE AND 
NORTHWESTERN PRINCE GEORGE COUNTIES AND THE CITY OF COLONIAL 
HEIGHTS, THE CITY OF HOPEWELL AND THE CITY OF PETERSBURG...

At 605 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported numerous roads flooded 
and closed around Petersburg including Pocahontas Rd, McKeer St and 
Joseph Jenkins Rd. Avoid flooded areas. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches 
of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
