* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of around 4
  inches. Storm total snow of around 12 inches.

* WHERE...Port Alexander.

* WHEN...Until midnight AKST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...By 215 pm over 8 inches was measured in
  Port Alexander with heavy snow still falling.

TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Thorne Bay, Hollis, Klawock, surrounding communities on
  Prince of Wales Island, and Ketchikan areas.

* WHEN...Until midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and reduced
  visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Over 3 inches of snow has already been
  measured at the north end of Ketchikan, but lesser amounts on
  western Prince of Wales Island. Greatest rates expected into 
  the evening. A change over or mix with rain is possible for 
  Craig, Hydaburg, and Metlakatla Friday evening, which would 
  limit snowfall amounts.

...WINTER STORM WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT MIDNIGHT AKST TONIGHT...

A weather spotter reported 11 inches of snow in Port Alexander 
through 5 PM AKST Friday with snow continuing through the evening.
As of 11:30 PM AKST, radar is showing the band of snow 
dissipating with the storm moving south. Light snow with up to 1 
additional inch of accumulation is possible.
