...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AKST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 7 
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...The Haines Highway including Haines.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Roads could be very
  slick. Heavy snow will be difficult to manage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will likely mix with or change to rain
  in Haines by early morning. If south winds fail to arrive, then
  temperatures will stay cold and heavy snow will continue at sea
  level, resulting in higher amounts in the town of Haines.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED...

Snow changed to rain as far north as 26 mile by 630 PM with snow
fall accumulation of 9.5 inches reported. Closer to the border the
temperature is also above freezing, but snow may still mix in 
with rain but rates have decreased below warning levels.
