The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Yukon Flats and Surrounding Uplands in Alaska...

* Until 545 PM AKDT.

* At 516 PM AKDT, a severe thunderstorm was located along the Yukon 
  River 20 miles west of Beaver, or 30 miles northeast of Stevens 
  Village. The storm was moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...One inch size hail and frequent lightning. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to vehicles and boats is expected. People in the 
           area should move inside a structure vehicle if possible. 

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  central Yukon Flats and Surrounding Uplands.
