The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Lincoln County in central New Mexico...
  Western Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...

* Until 700 PM MDT.
    
* At 610 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 9 miles east of Arabela, or 30 miles northwest of
  Roswell, moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  east central Lincoln and western Chaves Counties.
