The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Roosevelt County in east central New Mexico...

* Until 645 PM MDT.
    
* At 620 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Causey, or 22 miles southeast of Portales, moving
  southeast at 35 mph. This is near Causey.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  east central Roosevelt County.
