This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of north and central
New Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will return to the
area along and east of the south central mountains this afternoon and
evening. Some storms will be capable of locally heavy rainfall with a
risk of isolated flash flooding. Isolated strong thunderstorms will
also be possible southeast of a line from Carrizozo to Tucumcari,
where wet microbursts with wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible
with hail up to the size of pennies and frequent cloud-to-ground
lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Friday through Sunday, daily rounds of scattered to at times
numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected mainly along and east
of the continental divide. Some storms along and east of the central
mountain chain, as well as those over south central and southwest
areas, will be capable of locally heavy rainfall.

Saturday afternoon and evening, a few strong to severe storms will be
possible over northeast areas with a risk of large hail and damaging
winds.
