  East central Roosevelt County in east central New Mexico...
  Southeastern Curry County in east central New Mexico...

* Until 430 PM MDT.

* At 332 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Portales,
  moving east at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Portales, Floyd, Arch and Oasis State Park. 

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 392 and 393.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Large hail, damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lighting is

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM MDT
FOR EAST CENTRAL ROOSEVELT AND SOUTHEASTERN CURRY COUNTIES...

At 408 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Oasis State
Park, or near Portales and was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Portales, Floyd, Arch and Oasis State Park. 

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 392 and 393.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
