* At 1217 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Smokey Bear
Historical Park, or 17 miles northeast of Ruidoso, moving northeast
at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage

limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.

winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
