* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Ottawa County in north central Kansas...

* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 924 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly. Ahother 1 to 3 inches of rain could fall over the next 
  few hours.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, 
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other 
           drainage and low lying areas.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM CDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN OTTAWA COUNTY...

At 951 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms 
producing heavy rain in Culver where the streets are under water. Up 
to three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is 
already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash 
         flooding.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, 
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Minneapolis, Bennington, Tescott, Culver and Wells.

At 1043 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms 
producing heavy rain have closed roads including Evergreen road 
south to K18 and Culver road is also closed. 3 to 5 inches of rain 
have fallen so far. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash 
         flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management.
