A Slight Risk of severe weather exists this afternoon and evening,
which means scattered severe storms are possible. Damaging winds,
some large hail, and an isolated tornado will all be possible in the
afternoon and evening. A few high water impacts may also occur with
the heavier storms. As a result, there is a Marginal to Slight risk
for excessive rainfall with the highest threat across southeast Ohio
and northern West Virginia.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected on Sunday
with the potential for heavy downpours and strong damaging winds.

moving northeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

City, Bradley, Shady Spring, Prosperity, Beaver, Daniels, Piney View,

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT EASTERN FAYETTE COUNTY...

At 813 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Babcock State
Park, moving northeast at 40 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Rainelle, Babcock State Park, Oak Hill, Ansted, Meadow
Bridge and Thurmond.

This includes Route 19 between mile markers 12 and 30.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to travel across
flooded roads. Find alternate routes. It takes only a few inches of
swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles away.
