The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Le Sueur County in south central Minnesota...
  Northwestern Rice County in south central Minnesota...

* Until 1145 AM CDT.

* At 833 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Northfield, Le Center, Dundas, Bridgewater, Kilkenny, Faribault 
  Airport and Lake Jefferson.

MORNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN LE SUEUR AND NORTHWESTERN RICE COUNTIES...

At 927 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms 
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches 
of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
