This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
Alabama...southwest Alabama...northwest Florida and southeast
Mississippi.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Showers and thunderstorms will move over the region today and
tonight ahead of a cold front approaching from the northwest. Due
to limited forcing aloft the threat for severe weather remains
low. Gusty winds below severe limits, occasional lightning and
brief periods of heavy rain may accompany some of the heavier
showers or thunderstorms mostly during the afternoon today.

There is a High Risk for rip currents along the Gulf beaches of
Alabama and Northwest Florida today and tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

There is a High Risk for rip currents along the Gulf beaches of
Alabama and Northwest Florida during the day on Sunday followed
by a Moderate Risk Sunday night.

expected through Friday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the coastal
waters of Alabama and northwest Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hazardous conditions for small craft will continue over the marine
area through this afternoon. Small Craft Advisories will remain in
effect over the open Gulf waters out to 20 NM through noon today
and from 20 to 60 NM out through 6 pm CST this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Hazardous conditions for small craft will redevelop over the
marine area early Sunday morning and continue through Monday
night in the wake of a cold front that moves across the region
near sunrise Sunday morning. Small Craft Advisories will likely
be required.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES... UNTIL
1215 PM CST...

At 1140 AM CST, the strong thunderstorm was located over Dauphin
Island, moving northeast at 15 mph.

Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible with this storm. This
storm is capable of producing a waterspout that could move onshore.

Locations impacted include...
Dauphin Island and Fort Morgan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Waterspouts can move onshore and impact beaches before dissipating.
Furniture that isn't well anchored may become airborne and pose a
dangerous threat to beachgoers.  Seek shelter if you see a waterspout
moving towards shore.
