.NEAR TERM /Now Through Saturday afternoon/...Dry conditions and
mostly clear skies will continue over the area through the near
term as a large surface high pressure area settles over the
southeastern states and northern Gulf of Mexico. Northerly winds
of 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts will diminish to 5 to 10 mph
later this afternoon, with a light northerly flow for tonight,
followed by light and variable winds on Saturday. A cold and dry
airmass will continue to filter in from the north through the
period, so expect temperatures to be much below normal. Lowered
high temperatures a couple of degrees for today, ranging from 48
to 53 degrees, or 12 to 15 degrees below normal. Lows tonight will
be around 14 degrees below, ranging from 25 to 30 degrees inland
areas, with low to mid 30s at the coast. High temperatures
Saturday will be warmer, ranging from 57 to 60 degrees, or 5 to
9 degrees below normal. /22

18Z issuance...VFR conditions over the entire area will continue
through the forecast cycle. North winds 10 to 15 knots, potentially
up to around 20 knots near the coast, will gradually subside to 5
to 10 knots by early evening. A light northerly flow will occur
