.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Long period swells will bring the potential for strong rip currents,
ocean overwash, beach erosion and high surf to beaches north of Cape
Lookout through at least mid week.

Moderate easterly flow will produce high water levels across the
western Pamlico Sound region resulting the potential for minor
soundside flooding Tuesday and Wednesday with 1 to 2 feet of
inundation above the ground in locations adjacent to the Pamlico
Sound and the Neuse River.

Periods of moderate to heavy rain are expected Tuesday through
Friday. This could lead to areas of localized flooding across
Eastern North Carolina.
