.Aviation...
Conditions will gradually worsen across the Atlantic terminals
this evening and overnight. Winds will increase and begin shifting
as the storm passes east. In heavier rainbands, expect sudden
cig/vis reductions. Terminals will begin to clear from south to
north by mid morning Sunday. APF will likely keep VFR conditions
except for any outer bands that may temporarily reduce
vis/cig...but this will be the exception rather than the rule.
More convection may develop for APF Sunday afternoon.

..Tropical Storm Isaias Still Moving Toward The Region...
..Expected to regain Category 1 Hurricane Force Overnight...

Short Term (Rest of Today through Sunday Night)...

All eyes to our east with now Tropical Storm Isaias gradually creeping
towards the FL peninsula. Despite Isaias being downgraded to a tropical
storm this afternoon, it is still expected to regain Category 1
hurricane force overnight and early Sunday as it moves over the Gulf
Stream waters just off the coast. As the system nears, winds and rain
chances will increase across the region, especially along the Atlantic
coast and eastern portions of South Florida. Tropical Storm force wind
gusts are already plaguing portions of eastern Palm Beach, Broward, and
Miami-Dade counties (mostly along the immediate coast) with some far
outer bands emanating from Isaias. The squalls are expected to become
stronger and more frequent late this afternoon and early this evening,
making last-minute outdoor preparations increasingly dangerous.
Therefore, preparations to protect life and property should be rushed
to completion, preferably already completed, especially in the
hurricane and tropical storm warning areas.

STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 100 miles east-southeast of Miami FL
    - 25.1N 78.7W
    - Storm Intensity 70 mph
    - Movement Northwest or 310 degrees at 10 mph

CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - The Hurricane Watch has been cancelled for Coastal Broward and
      Inland Palm Beach
    - The Tropical Storm Watch has been cancelled for Far South
      Miami-Dade and Inland Miami-Dade

CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - A Hurricane Warning is in effect for Coastal Palm Beach and
      Metro Palm Beach
    - A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Coastal Broward,
      Coastal Miami-Dade, Inland Broward, Inland Palm Beach, Metro
      Broward, and Metro Miami-Dade

Another impact from this storm that could materialize is urban flooding
from heavy rainfall across the east coast, where the Weather Prediction
Center has placed under a Marginal Risk of Excessive Rainfall through
tomorrow morning. Current concerns for the heaviest rainfall are over
Palm Beach, where experimental PQPF values depict 4 to 5 inches of
rainfall, with locally higher amounts possible.

Hazardous marine and beach conditions are also possible as the storm
crosses through the region. A High Risk of Rip currents continues for
all South Florida Atlantic beaches, with the continuation of a High
Surf Advisory for the Palm Beach and Broward Coastlines. Furthermore, a
Coastal Flood Advisory remains in place for Palm Beach, with Coastal
Flood Statements for Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.

As Tropical Storm Isaias continues to trek towards the Sunshine State,
we continue to diligently monitor the latest forecast track, motion,
and intensity as one small shift in the track could dramatically change
the overall impacts, even this close to the peninsula. Be sure to

On Sunday, Isaias should pull towards the northeast, gradually allowing
winds to diminsh from south to north as the system departs from the
region through the evening. Lingering tropical moisture will aid in
keeping rain chances to remain elevated across South Florida.

Long Term (Monday through Friday)...

South to southeasterly low-level flow will remain in place across the
area in the wake of Isaias, which will aid in lofting rich, tropical
moisture northward from the western Caribbean. Therefore, enhanced
shower and thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast through the
extended period. Due to the anticipation of heavy rainfall and possible
flooding from Isaias, we may face hydro concerns throughout portions of
the extended period. In fact, the latest Day 3 ERO from WPC places a
good chunk of South Florida in a Marginal Risk for excessive rainfall.
Otherwise, hazards associated with typical summertime, afternoon
convection will resume, which include gusty winds and frequent
lightning. Temperatures look to remain close to normal.

Marine...
Hazardous marine conditions will exist across local waters
as Tropical Storm Isaias crosses through the region today and Sunday.
Tropical storm conditions likely across the Atlantic, Lake
Okeechobee, and Biscayne Bay waters, with hurricane conditions
possible for the Atlantic. At this time, the Gulf waters have a
lower probability of tropical storm force winds, but NOT impossible
through tonight. With that said, SCEC conditions are in place for
all South Florida Gulf waters. Needless to say it's crucial to stay
up to date with the latest forecast on Tropical Storm Isaias. Conditions
should begin to improve late Sunday as Isaias departs northward from
the area, with back to better boating conditions early next week.

Aviation...
With Tropical Storm Isaias, approaching, and the exact track and
timing still in question, it is probable the TAFs will need to be
amended multiple times today. The outer bands are moving in. It is
possible the system slows more than anticipated and a slightly
different track, which could allow degraded conditions to persist
into Sunday. IFR due to low cigs, strong wind, and low VSBY are
possible through tomorrow, mid-day.

Beach Forecast...
Winds and swells will gradually increase today as Tropical Storm
Isaias nears the South Florida coastline, resulting in a high risk
of rip currents all the Atlantic beaches through at least Sunday
night. Also, a High Surf Advisory is in effect for the Palm Beach
and Broward Coastlines.
