* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations 
  of 3 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. A Blizzard 
  Warning means severe winter weather conditions are expected or 
  occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor 
  visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout 
  conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. 
  If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If 
  you get stranded, stay with your vehicle.

MVFR/IFR ceilings will continue the remainder of this afternoon at
KMAF/KHOB with VFR conditions elsewhere. Cold front will continue
to sag south toward the mountains this afternoon with winds
shifting to the northeast at all terminals. Conditions will
rapidly deteriorate at all terminals by around 05/00z early this
evening as a strong storm system approaches. Prevailing IFR/LIFR
conditions in rain, sleet, snow and fog is expected at all
terminals overnight and continue into Wednesday morning.

UPDATE...

The forecast has been updated to reflect the current position of
the cold front and the rain that has developed over the Permian
Basin. The front is moving faster than anticipated so have lowered
high temperatures across the board. We have received several
reports of sleet mixed in with the rain near Odessa. Temperatures
will remain above freezing through the afternoon in these areas so
we should just see wet roads. Further north and west over SE NM
and the Guadalupe Mountains, snow is developing and will continue
to increase. Have increased snow amounts there to account for
this. Continue to follow social media and our website for the
most up to date forecast.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the Permian Basin as well
the Guadalupe and Davis Mountains, Van Horn Corridor, and Marfa
Plateau for tonight for snowfall amounts of 4 to 8 inches. A Winter
Weather Advisory is in effect for the Trans Pecos Region as well as
lower elevations east and south of the Davis Mountains for tonight
for snowfall amounts of 1-3 inches.

A High Wind Watch remains in effect tonight for Guadalupe Pass.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

The Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory will remain in
effect through Wednesday.
