This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Thunderstorms will continue into the early morning hours in
central and south Arkansas. Some of the storms will be strong to
severe, with the primary hazard being damaging straight line
winds and large hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday Through Thursday

For Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures expected to climb into
the lower 90s and abundant moisture in place near the surface, heat
indices could approach or briefly exceed 100 degrees in some places.

As remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal approach the state from the
south Monday into Tuesday, widespread rainfall can be expected.
Additional impacts from the system could include locally strong wind
gusts as well as isolated tornadoes. With potential impacts heavily
dependent on the future track of this storm, monitor the latest
forecast information for updates.

At 1115 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
DeGray Lake State Park, or 7 miles north of Arkadelphia, moving south
at 10 mph.

Penny size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
