* Tornado Warning for...
  Eastern Lafayette Parish in south central Louisiana...
  Northwestern Iberia Parish in south central Louisiana...
  Northwestern St. Martin Parish in south central Louisiana...

* Until 215 AM CDT.
    
* At 142 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located NEAR Lydia, or 7 miles west of Jeanerette, moving north
  at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lafayette, New Iberia, Catahoula, Scott, Breaux Bridge, Carencro,
  St. Martinville, Jeanerette, Avery Island and Broussard.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 102 and 123.
 Interstate 49 between mile markers 1 and 6.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile
home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and
protect yourself from flying debris.

At 201 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located OVER St. Martinville, moving north at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
