for the following rivers in Mississippi... 

  Pearl River At Edinburg affecting Leake County
  Pearl River Near Carthage affecting Leake County
  Yockanookany River Near Kosciusko affecting Attala County
  Yockanookany River Near Ofahoma affecting Leake County


SYNOPSIS...

Heavy rainfall event is moving into the region beginning Monday
and going through Thursday.  These crests are based on 48 hours
of rainfall. Since this is only the first 2 days of the rainfall,
crest could go higer based on additional heavy rainfal beyond
48 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive or walk through areas where water covers roadway! The 
water may be deeper than it appears. Remember...Turn around, don't 
drown!

occurred along with forecast rainfall for the next 48 hours.

  begin rising on Monday morning. The River will rise above 
  flood stage Tuesday morning and will continue to rise to
  near 21.0 feet Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Widespread flooding of lowlands upstream and
  downstream of the State Highway 35 bridge is occurring.

  beginning to rise. The river will rise above flood stage Wednesday
  morning and will continue to rise to near 15.5 feet Wednesday evening.  
* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Water approaches the Natchez Trace Parkway 
  south of Kosciusko. Water floods lowlands alongthe reach of the 
  river.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 18.0 feet
Wednesday evening.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet...The open air pavilion at Burnside Lake Water
Park is inundated.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet...The open air pavilion in Burnside Lake Water
Park begins to flood.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Most of the camping areas and roadways in
Burnside Lake Water Park are covered by flood water.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Water begins to cover some of the Burnside
Lake Water Park roadways and camp areas.
