At 607 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Buie, or 7 miles southeast of Red Springs, moving east at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lumberton, Red Springs, St. Pauls, Smiths, Rex, Howellsville,
Tolarsville, Shannon, Buie, Robeson Community College, Barker Ten
Mile, Parkton, Rennert, Lumber Bridge and Southeastern Regional
Medical Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
