This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

There is a slight chance for thunderstorms late tonight along and
west of a line from Russell to Winfield. Strong or severe storms are
not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

There will be slight chances for thunderstorms periodically from
Monday night through Thursday night. A few strong to marginally
severe storms will be possible.

Heat indices will hover near 100 degrees across southern Kansas
during the afternoon hours on Tuesday. There is a better chance for
much of the area experiencing heat indices from 100 to 105 degrees
during the afternoon hours on Thursday through Saturday.

  tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near
  Byers to near Isabel to 5 miles east of Kiowa...and moving east at
  40 mph.

wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms and pea
sized hail.

  Kingman, Anthony, Harper, Attica, Cunningham, Turon, Sylvia,
